Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation”.  Mark 16:15  We are all parts of the body of Christ.  Some have been given the gift of preaching the gospel through word.  Our group has been blessed to be able to spread His word through the gift of song.  Whether we are singing to 1 person or 200 people our goals are to serve the Lord and win souls for Christ.

 

We started singing together as a group in May 2008 mainly as a supplement to our church choir.  Our first full performance was in October 2008 and we’ve been singing for the Lord ever since.  The Directors Trio became our name and has special meaning to the three of us.  Kevin and Renee are Co-Directors of the Lakeview Community Church Adult Choir and Minone and Renee are Directors of the Children’s Choir.

 

Our performances are filled with a mix of Southern Gospel and Contemporary with a little bit of soul thrown in.  It is our desire as a group to show each audience that the Savior is alive within everyone who believes and as Christians we should sing His praises so the masses can hear us.  Clapping, singing, tapping your feet and dancing are not mandatory when we sing but it sure does make life a little more fun.  We want you to leave with a smile on your face and the love of God in your heart.
